Data Usage Policy

DoubleVerify utilizes tracking pixel technology, which is embedded within an advertisement, to perform its campaign measurement functions. When an advertisement containing the pixel is served on a publisher’s web property, the pixel will enable DoubleVerify to identify (i) the page URL where the ad was served and (ii) the IP address of the browser to which the advertisement was served. This information is aggregated in the DoubleVerify system and is not combined with any other external data. This function is usually performed in approximately one tenth of one second and the DoubleVerify pixel does not place a cookie or any other similar mechanism on the browser. Further, DoubleVerify does not utilize any consumer data tracking technologies and does not link to, attempt to link to, collect or maintain any personally identifiable information. DoubleVerify does not share any information collected with anyone except as is necessary to perform the campaign measurement services for which it has been contracted or in an aggregated manner without identifying any of the parties involved.

Should you wish to be notified by email of material changes to the above policy, please send a correspondence to this email address datapolicy@doubleverify.com with “PIXEL” in the subject line.
