Using DoubleVerify’s proprietary classification methods, Prospector suggests publishers based on criteria such as a site’s track record, true environment and content classification. With Prospector, networks and platforms can evaluate sites before initially contacting them. Clients will receive a monthly evaluation of top 1,000 sites organized by content classification tiers, average number of ads per page and by ad placement on the page.

Our Content Tiers

Content tiers divide inventory by the type of content on the page or site. DoubleVerify provides four tiers of content, so that networks and platforms can better evaluate sites.

Premium: Highly desirable content that is safe for all brands. Premium content, such as technology or lifestyle, may appeal to preferred demographics or command a high CPM

Acceptable: Content that may be appropriate but may not appeal to conservative brands. This content may include as matchmaking, user-generated or political material

Restricted: High-severity content that most brands would consider inappropriate

Unacceptable: Extremely problematic or negative content such as pornography, fraud and illegal downloads
