Behavioral Advertising Compliance

DoubleVerify’s Online Behavioral Advertising (OBA) compliance offering gives advertisers, agencies, ad networks, publishers and demand-side platforms the confidence to deliver behaviorally targeted ads while staying well ahead of industry regulations.

In response to the Federal Trade Commission, industry organizations are expected to roll out a self-regulatory program for online behavioral advertising in the coming months. This program will require “notice and choice” icons to be placed on every behaviorally targeted ad.

Working with DoubleVerify, online advertisers can display an “OBA compliant” icon within their ad to inform the user that the ad they’re viewing was behaviorally targeted and compliant with industry guidelines. The icon will also allow users to opt-out of behaviorally targeted ads in the future.
